The new 2011 Bentley Continental GT
is now out in the open and will soon be followed by updated versions of the Continental GT Speed, GTC convertible and Flying Spur sedan but along the way there will be a handful of special edition models to help keep interest brewing.
Back at August’s Pebble Beach event we saw Bentley unveil the 80-11 Editions of the Continental GTC and GTC Speed
but this is reportedly just the start of the special edition roll out.
Bentley will follow a model similar to what Porsche does with the 911, whereby a special edition model is offered every couple of years or so, according to Autocar
The intended goal is to eventually sell more than the 23,000 units that the first Continental GT series racked up over its seven years of sales.
