The next Roush Mustang is here.

Dubbed 5XR, this 525-horsepower/465 lb-ft of torque supercharged pony car will be limited to 150 units, each with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. The 525R will be available in both coupe and convertible form, but only with a six-speed manual transmission.

A Roush suspension kit including front struts, rear shocks, rear springs, and front and rear stabilizers, supports the 5XR, and the car also has 20-inch wheels.

Other goodies include a Roush exhaust, body kit, unique grille, and unique badging.

Unlike previous Roush Mustangs, the 5XR will be sold as post-title only, meaning that authorized Roush Ford dealerships must either pre-sell the base car or title the car before the order can through Roush's system. The 5XR will not be available in California.

The 5XR will cost $15,390 on top of the base Mustang chassis, and buyers will get a signed letter of authenticity from Jack Roush himself.

In addition to the standard features listed above, buyers will be able to add options such as vent-pod gauges, upgraded brakes, and a three-piece grille.
