UPDATE: The Neiman Marcus Camaro Convertible sold out in three minutes after appearing on the Today Show. If you had your sights set on one, well, you might want to try eBay.

As I write this, there are still plenty of green leaves on the trees outside, even though it's technically fall. But the fact it's the first week of October hasn't stopped some from already thinking about the holidays.

And if you have someone on your holiday shopping lists with discerning tastes in muscle/pony cars, then Neiman Marcus might have the answer for you. The high-end retailer is offering a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible for a cool $75,000. Offered for sale as part of the company's famous "Christmas Book," only 100 of these special edition cars will be built. The car is on display, along with the book, at the flagship store in Dallas.

The exterior is painted in "Deep Bordeaux" with "ghosted" rally stripes. The tri-coat paint metallic paint job will also switch colors, depending on the lighting, and the cloth top and windshield frame will be color-matching. The interior will have leather accents, amber and black leather seats, red accents on the center console, steering wheel, and shifter; and Deep Bordeaux accents on the door panels and dashboard.

Mechanical underpinnings will be the same as that of the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible.

If you want one of these cars for yourself or your significant other, and you have the means to pick one up, be aware that orders begin at noon EST on October 19.

Also, spy shots of the 2012 Camaro Z28 have hit the Web. Check them out here.
