HKS was one of the first major tuning houses to work on the GT-R supercar, developing performance kits and accessories for the 1989 R32 model right up to the latest 2009 R35 model. The tuning firm is now celebrating its 35th anniversary, and to mark the occasion it has released for sale in the United States the first assortment of R35 GT-R performance parts.

For over 35 years HKS products have been put to the test in drag racing, road racing, rallying, and top speed trials arenas. HKS equipped vehicles have captured numerous racing championships and hold claim to a myriad of competition records using many “off the shelf”, race proven HKS components. As a result, HKS has been synonymous with ‘performance’ in the automotive aftermarket industry.

For the fourth generation GT-R, the HKS performance parts catalog starts off with a $5,700 GT570 Racing Package. This kit has been designed specifically for motorsport use and includes 75mm racing extension pipes, new intercooling piping, a reprogrammed ECU, a sequential blow-off valve kit, reinforced actuators, and new spark plugs.

Other parts are sold individually and include a Legamax Premium Exhaust for $3,200, a sequential blow-off valve kit for $1,575, a Hipermax III Sport suspension kit for $,4295, a Super Hybrid Filter for $70, and performance spark plugs for $23.97 each.

All HKS parts are available through authorized HKS dealers and select aftermarket accessories shops. One crucial factor to remember is that installing many of these accessories may void the vehicle warranty as well as an individual’s insurance policy.
