Lamborghini has some busy weeks ahead of it. The Italian manufacturer of some of the world’s finest supercars will unveil its highly anticipated Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster in less than a fortnight at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, and we hear that there may be a new limited edition model along the lines of the previous Reventón and Veneno supercars shown in Monterey as well.

And now we can add the Huracán LP 610-4 Spyder to the list of upcoming reveals. According to Dutch website Autovisie, the open-top Huracán will be shown for the first time at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show, which gets underway September 15. It will share the stage with the Aventador SV Roadster and possibly the new limited edition model. Also at the German show will be a direct rival for the Huracán Spyder: Ferrari’s new 488 Spider.

There isn’t expected to be many surprises with the Huracán Spyder. Expect the roof to be an automated soft-top similar to the one on the previous Gallardo Spyder. The drivetrain, meanwhile, will be identical to the one in the Huracán coupe, which means a 5.2-liter V-10 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and spinning all four wheels. Peak output should remain capped at 601 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque.
