When we first saw images of Mercedes’ new CL-class, we were a little disappointed. Gone was the brutal, mobster style of the old model and in, were the soft lines and gentle curves of the new.

Well, Mercedes has just released official details of the AMG sport package, which gives the big Benz a much tougher appearance. Thanks mainly to the new front and rear bumpers with larger intakes, and a dashing of chrome. It never hurts to see a set of 19 inch AMG alloys either.

Mechanically, the car is unchanged, won’t be long now until AMG drops the hammer with the soon to be released CL63.
