GeigerCars.de, one of Europe’s finest tuner of American autos, has waved its wand over a current Ford Mustang and has created a 520hp (383kW) monster capable of reaching a top speed of 287km/h. To achieve this massive output, the Mustang’s GT V8 was bored out to 5.2-litres and had a supercharger bolted on. Engine internals were reinforced, including precision machining of the cylinder heads plus the installation of strengthened materials. To complete the system, a full stainless-steel free flow exhaust kit was added.

Visually, the car gets a bright orange paint scheme, a new customised bonnet with large air scoops and the matching aerodynamic bodykit. All additions bolt straight on to the original factory mounts, and thanks to the large adjustable rear wing, on road dynamics are said to be improved substantially over the standard car. Handling is also improved thanks to the height-adjustable GeigerCars coil-over suspension kit.

What does all this equate to? Peak power and torque are 520hp (383kW) and 563Nm respectively, and the 0-100km/h comes up in just 4.2 seconds. The interior hasn’t been left untouched either. To match the amazing machinery beneath the bonnet, GeigerCars has installed a 10,000 Watt JBL/Alpine sound system. Almost every surface is adorned in leather including two contoured race-style bucket seats. It even has the Harman Kardon “Drive&Play” iPod adapter favored by one of our writers.
