Mugen S2000 Open-Top Pure Sports Concept

The Honda S2000 is at the end of its life but that hasn’t stopped Mugen, Honda’s performance division, from creating a one-off concept version labeled the Open-Top Pure Sports Concept. The car was developed as part of Mugen’s “Exciting 2007” promotion and will join production cars like the Civic Mugen Si at various auto shows.

The concept car is based on the regular road-going S2000 Convertible but has been upgraded with the best aftermarket parts that Mugen has to offer. Hopefully, the research that went into developing this concept will make its way into the S2000 replacement.

The car features a new front-end including unique headlights, air dam and grille. Huge Brembo brakes with red calipers adorn the wheels, while at the rear sits a menacing set of quad exhaust pipes.
