The
convertible version of Saab’s recently launched 9-3 sedan has been spotted ahead of the car’s official release later this year. It seems that Saab’s engineers aren’t too worried about camouflaging the vehicle now that its sedan and wagon siblings have already been revealed.
Changes from the previous model include the new front bodywork, door panels and clear-lens taillights, with inspiration taken directly from Saab’s Aero X concept car.
The new 9-3 range comprises a Sport Sedan, SportCombi and this Convertible, plus all models offer Saab’s unique ‘tri-fuel’ engine options of gasoline,
diesel or E85 BioPower. Models are also further differentiated with the Linear, Vector and Aero lines of trim.

So why does it still have to be front-wheel drive?
Drives me nuts (pun intended).
