Ferrari is yet to reveal whether or not the entry-level Dino has even been confirmed for production but that hasn't stopped one enthusiast from creating his own design for the car. The Ferrari Dino Concept design was penned by Ugur Sahin, whose goal was to create a car that feels stylish, modern, dynamic and organic while staying true to the original design language of the Ferrari Dino and Ferrari brand in general.

Early reports suggest that we may see a production Dino by 2010, and Germany’s AutoZeitung has speculated that some form of the car will be displayed at September’s Frankfurt Motor Show. Previously, Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo revealed that a new car based on the F430 will be in Frankfurt, however, this could simply be the F430 Challenge Stradale.

If built, the Dino would likely feature a mid-mounted V8 engine displacing in the vicinity of 4.0L and an aluminum chassis. Power levels should be upwards of 400hp, with drive sent to the rear wheels via an F1-style gearbox. Follow the jump for our complete gallery of Dino renderings.

  2. I second that motion. However, it definitely needs to be a 6 cylinder in order not to cannibalize sales from the F430 and its successors. The 997 turbo puts out 480 bhp out of an inline 6. Surely Ferrari can do the same. Also keep the weight under 2700 or 2800 pounds and the price under $150K. And watch them fly off the showroom floor...

  4. If the Dino looks like this it would be the prettiest Ferrari currently in production.

  5. Ferrari would never build a car shaped like this. Look at the profile shot, the front end is too tall, especially the headlights. This would have shocking aerodynamics.

Hector, as its name implies the 911 Turbo has a turbocharger. I couldn't imagine Ferrari using a turbo six. The new Dino should get a V8, the F430 successor get a V10 and the flagships keep the V12.

  6. Ronny, being a \"slower\" car wouldn\'t the aerodynamics make less of a difference? I\'m thinking top speed would only be 180-190mph.

  8. WOW! Look at the size of those disks! The wheels are hot too. I'm not that sold on the front styling, it kind of reminds me of a dune buggy. As a whole I like the car but I don't think Ferrari should build a car below the F430. A part of Ferrari's being amazing, part of their apeal is that not everyone could get thier hands on one. This is Ferrari after all, not Porseche.

Oh yeah. When the Dino was built it wasn't offically a Ferrari!
