Watch as a speeding Audi RS 6 Avant driver on the streets of Poznan, Poland runs a red light and then crosses directly in front of a tram. The footage, taken by a dash-mounted camera of another vehicle waiting at the red light crossing, shows the complete crash as it unfolds. It appears the RS 6 driver was attempting to make a right turn but didn’t anticipate the approaching tram.

Incredibly, we hear this crash happened during a test drive of a brand new RS 6. The latest version of the Audi sledgehammer was unveiled at the 2014 Paris Auto Show. It’s available exclusively in the A6’s Avant wagon bodystyle and comes with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 delivering 560 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels. This is enough for 0-62 mph acceleration in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of around 190 mph.

Sadly, there are no plans to bring the RS 6 over to the U.S., at least in this generation.
