MPV style concepts appear to be a popular theme for this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Just last week GM released a teaser for its upcoming Opel Meriva MPV concept and now Hyundai has released a couple of sketches for its take on the flexible van design. Hyundai’s new concept is called the HED-5 and it’s claimed to be a new six-seater vehicle constructed with advanced materials and capable of delivering ultra-low emissions.

The HED-5 was created with the help of Recaro, Bayer and LG. The vehicle is said to feature a new package of innovations that demonstrate how existing technology can make a significant (up to 29%) reduction in CO2 emissions without any detriment to price, performance or driving enjoyment.

Hyundai will also use the Geneva setting to unveil the facelifted version of the Matrix as well as a range of new ‘Eco-Dynamic’ clean vehicles.
