Up against the aggressively styled Mitsubishi Evo X and Nissan GT-R, Subaru’s new Impreza WRX STI looks a little timid and ungainly. At least the hot-hatch at least has little to worry about when it comes to the track as this latest clip form Fifth Gear reveals. Follow the jump for the full video or click here to read up on all the details on the 2008 WRX STI.

  1. this car is really growing on me. i must say, who ever designed it, has done a good job. seriously. It's still very subaru, but about as hot as a subaru could get. I've never cared for the road going versions but i cant wait to see if this car is enough to get subaru out of last place in World Rally. I think Petr Solberg's going to shoot up the car park one of these days.

    Bad stuff?

  2. I've always liked the look of it. With the STi and it's arch filling wheels, I think it looks nicely hunkered down. Much better than the old one.

  4. Finally a design worthy of all that power. Kudos to subaru (please stop changing it every year)
