Update: Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir limited to just 15 cars
Enlarge Photo Update: Bugatti promised to build only 300 examples of its Veyron supercar in total but this number also included a number of special edition models such as the recently revealed Sang Noir and its Pur Sang forerunner. While the unpainted Pur Sang was limited to just five units, up to 15 examples of the all-black Sang Noir will be built to appease Bugatti’s American customers who missed out on their chance to bid on the Pur Sang model during its European launch last year.
According to EVO, Bugatti will first offer the car to American buyers before any other market is given the chance. Bugatti currently has 230 confirmed orders for the Veyron, which means there are just 70 cars available. However, it’s unclear if this number will include the
upcoming ‘targa’ model currently in development.
Original: Less than a month after the reveal of the limited edition
Bugatti Veyron Fbg par Hermès at the Geneva Motor Show comes another highly exclusive version of one of the fastest and most desirable supercars on the planet, the Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir. The new edition is dedicated to the original Bugatti Atlantique 57S of the 1930s and features a number of new styling elements, namely an all-black exterior with unpainted carbon-fiber panels.
Other details include aluminum on the side-mirrors and grille surround, blacked out headlights, new alloy wheels with black powder-coated elements and a custom tan-colored leather and Alcantara interior. The Sang Noir, which translates to ‘Black Blood,’ is loosely based on the previous Pur Sang edition of which only five cars were built. No word yet on pricing and volume details for the new model.
