The 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show is just around the corner and today we have the first details on two new performance SUVs that are slated to be unveiled at the event. They are the 2015 BMW X5 M and X6 M, which come with 567 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of just 4.0 seconds.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles made the shock announcement yesterday that it will be spinning off Ferrari into a separate unit and selling some shares in the storied Italian marque. It turns out the move actually makes a lot of sense for FCA, which is vying to become one of the world’s top automakers.

Porsche has revealed a special edition Panamera that it plans to introduce at the L.A. Auto Show. The special edition is based on the range-topping Panamera Turbo S Executive and just 100 examples will be made.

You’ll find all of this and more in today’s car news right here at Motor Authority.
