So apparently, there was some sort of Scottish thing in New York last week:
Sean Connery played host to the 7th Annual Dressed To Kilt fashion show at New York City's M2 Ultra Lounge this week. The charity show featured celebrities and athletes wearing Scottish designs and included runway appearances by Mike Meyers, Kellie Pickler and Joan Jett.
We didn't attend, but we can guess what it was like: bagpipes, thistles, souvenir keychains of the Loch Ness monster. Totes thrilling.
And as if the thought of buffet tables piled high with haggis weren't enough to make our stomach's churn, there's a pic of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Connery rolled up in, at the link below. Under all that wrappage, it might as well be a Ford Taurus. (P.S. Not a compliment.)
That said, we have to hand it to Sean for motoring around in what appears to be pink plaid. Seems like a bold color statement for the poster boy of modern male chauvinism*. Could he be evolving, or did he just stumble off his meds?
* We are aware that Michael Lohan is also in the running for Chauvinist of the Century, but we're ignoring him. With any luck, he'll just go away like jock itch or a yeast infection**.
** Those do just go away, right?
