A record number of new cars will being making either their world, European or UK public debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will be held in West Sussex in the UK from 22-24 June. The list of cars include some of the most exotic metal from around the world, as well as several important regular models, but the highlight of the show will be the unveiling of the world’s fastest production vehicle, the Acabion GTBO, which has a top speed of 342mph.

Showgoers will also get to see the 1012bhp Bristol Fighter T, Caparo T1, Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR Roadster, Audi R8, Bentley Brooklands Coupé, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, Porsche 911 GT3RS, Tesla Roadster, the one-off Pininfarina Ferrari P4/5 Enzo, plus the RUF CT3, and Artega GT. A couple of still top-secret concepts from major manufacturers are also due to be revealed for the very first time at the Festival.

Other new models being displayed will include the third-generation Ford Mondeo, Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé, Mazda 2, and the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera.

New to the show will be the state-of-the-art Goodwood Technology Pavilion, which will showcase the future of motoring and environmental issues. Some of the concepts attendees can expect include the hydrogen-powered Ital Design Vadho, Honda Small Hybrid Sports Concept and Mazda Hakaze. Also on display will be the hybrid Toyota FT-HS, and diesel-hybrid Peugeot 908 RC, along with projects such as the NissanPivo and Honda’s Asimo robot.
