Anne Proffit has worked in the automotive field since - well, not telling you that. She's been a car salesperson (before it was popular to hire women), a service advisor, vendor to the refinish trade (that's body shops for you at home) and even a jewelry artist's representative. How's that for diversity? Her love of all things motorsports led Anne to be the first editor of the IMSA Arrow newsletter, a racing timer & scorer for national and international series including F1, race reporter for every major magazine and for major racing websites (she was among the first to write race reports online back in the early 1990s), race driver and photographer. Anne has also been reviewing cars since the late 1980s and now has a wide knowledge base of all vehicles - together with photos of every car she's reviewed. When not on the road Anne lives in Long Beach, CA with her hearing dog Leah, a Chihuahua. Both Anne and Leah love to travel to bring all the racing and vehicle news to readers of www.motorauthority.com.
