Lamborghini has been quietly showing off the Huracán to VIP clients around the world. We’ll be getting our first look at the car’s global debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show on March 4. It will be the first car unveiled at the Swiss show, and Lamborghini also plans to use the event to present its first official video of the car, which was filmed recently on the streets of Los Angeles.
The new Lambo's full title is Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, and it comes powered by a 601-horsepower version of the 5.2-liter V-10 fitted to the outgoing Gallardo. In the Huracán, the engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission which has been labeled the Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF).
Hop behind the wheel of the Huracán and keep your foot to the floor, and you’ll accelerate to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds, pass 124 mph in 9.9 seconds and finally max out somewhere close to 202 mph.
Pricing and availability for the U.S. market will be announced later in the year.
