Mazda will present a handful of customized rides at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon next month, but just like the lineup it presented at the recent SEMA show, the latest range of modded Mazdas is more about show than go. The cars include the latest 3 and 6 as well as the CX-5 crossover, which have all been tweaked with aerodynamic enhancements, performance brakes and custom wheels.

Starting with the 3, both a hatch and sedan will be on show at the Japanese tuning fest. The cars wear Mazdaspeed-branded aero pieces and special graphics. The hatch, meanwhile, is said to also benefit from Brembo brakes, a strengthened chassis and light alloy wheels.

The 6 sedan Mazda is bringing to the Tokyo Auto Salon will feature a two-tone look plus aluminum wheels and Mazdaspeed aero pieces. Inside, the vehicle will be lined in Alcantara trim and its powerplant will be Mazda’s SKYACTIV-D 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine, good for a stock 173 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque.

Joining the 6 sedan will be the car’s stylish wagon variant, which will come with more aero pieces, new wheels and a leather-wrapped dash. This car will also sport the SKYACTIV-D 2.2 turbodiesel mill.

Lastly, Mazda will present a customized CX-5. This will sport a matte black exterior and a center-mounted dual exhaust system. The crossover will also feature Brembo brakes and a two-tone interior.

The 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon will run from January 10 to 12 at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo’s Chiba prefecture. For our complete coverage of the event, head to our dedicated hub, and for more on Mazda’s offerings head over to World Car Fans.
