These are the first photos of a new AMG styling pack for the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class which we expect to be available when the svelte luxury sedan hits showrooms in the second half of next year. The styling pack is known as the AMG Line in Mercedes speak, and offers buyers of the new C-Class a slightly sportier look than the regular model without having to upgrade to AMG’s dedicated C-Class variant.

AMG Line items include a new front splitter finished in chrome, sporty side sills, a rear diffuser insert and aluminum window surrounds. The styling pack also includes 18-inch alloy wheels, lowered suspension and perforated brake discs.

The styling pack should be available with either of the two C-Class models on offer at the car’s launch: the C300 4MATIC and C400 4MATIC. The C300 4MATIC will come with a 235-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder while the C400 4MATIC will come with a 329-horsepower 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6. Both engines use direct-injection technology, and both are paired to a 7G-Tronic Plus seven-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.
