Also, if you happen to be a wealthy gent or lady in search of the latest insane-o street machine, the 918 is apparently not sold out. Call your accountant, get your funds prepared, and then sit back and wait for your hypercars arrival.
While your accountant is prepping the $845,000 you'll need to purchase the 918, you should probably set aside a few sheckles for driving school as well. After all, this is an 887-horsepower two-door that can run from 0-60 miles per hour in less than three seconds. That's rather quick, and your skills better be up to par or things could get out of sorts even more quickly. The last Porsche supercar, the Carrera GT, wasn't known for taking it easy on its occupants. We expect the 918 will be a bit more easy to handle... but not by much.
