Kia has a lot of interesting things going on these days for the design-conscious buyer, but sporty cars aren't among them. That has changed a bit today with the introduction of the all-new 2014 Forte Koup and its turbocharged, 201-horsepower SX model at the New York Auto Show.

With a six-speed manual transmission as standard equipment, the two-door Forte Koup SX is definitely the sportiest of Kia's offerings, though the Forte five-door also offers the turbo engine.

Until Kia gets a version of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe (which we've not heard any plans for), this is likely continue to be Kia's most interesting enthusiast vehicle.
