This past week we saw rioters in the African nation of Tunisia make off with a Ferrari 599 GTB supercar, which just so happened to belong to the country’s ousted president, Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, who has fled to Saudi Arabia.

Now another Ferrari, this one reportedly owned by a member of Ali’s family, Sofiane Ben Ali, has been targeted by angry rioters, and this time the car involved wasn’t so lucky.

The sorry-looking Ferrari California was stripped of its wheels, badges and most of its interior accessories. However, the rioters appear to have left the car’s carbon ceramic discs, brake calipers and even the engine relatively unharmed.

Regardless of the reason behind it, the damage done to this Ferrari is harrowing to see, especially knowing the kind of joy the car could have delivered.
