2012 Lexus LFA Pricing Details: Lease One For Just $12,398.44 Per Month

If you're looking for a technological bonanza with an inexplicable 10-into-3 exhaust system, there's only one answer: the 2012 Lexus LFA. But you'd better come packing, because the $375,000 Lexus supercar will run you $12,398.44 per month for a 24-month lease. But you have to pay the total of $297,562.56 up front as one lump sum.

Of course, that doesn't include the $700 acquisition fee, the $10,000 ordering deposit, the extensive credit check, or the extra cost of any of the mountain of options that can be added to the car's base price. All told, insurance included, the LFA can be expected to cost near $15,000 per month to lease.

Things could get considerably pricier, however, if you decide to heap on the options: $3,000 for a solid or metallic paint job, $20,000 for a matte finish, $2,500 for polished wheels, another $1,000 for special interior stitching, up to $9,000 for a custom-color interior. Of course, there are lower-dollar options, too, such as $100 headlamp washers and $200 winglets that can be added on. Go for the full monty and you're looking at $410,000 or more in total.

The standard LFA comes nicely configured in three basic packages, however. Configuration 1 includes leather or Alcantara seats and trim in a choice of three standard colors. Configuration 2 adds Mark Levinson audio and navigation. Configuration 3 steps it up with Lexus Enform with Safety Connect, voice commands, and XM Radio/NavTraffic/NavWeather.

Once you've taken on the lease, however, don't expect to be able to get out from under it: it's non-transferable except in the event of your death. At the end of the two-year lease term, you can elect to purchase the car for an additional $93,750 (assuming the base MSRP of $375,000). That makes the total amount you'll pay for the car $391,312.56 including all lease payments and the residual value buyout. If you choose not to purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease, you'll be responsible for any mileage over 15,000 miles per year at a rate of $0.20 per mile. We don't imagine that will be an issue for many.
