Hennessey is taking its Venom GT to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this weekend and has released a video showing the firm’s preparation of the car for its upcoming presence in Monterey. Hennessey, which recently announced plans for an even more extreme Venom F5 supercar, says the Venom GT it’s taking to Pebble Beach is the first example finished in white.

Like all Venom GTs, the latest example packs a twin-turbocharged 7.0-liter V-8. Peak output is a staggering 1,244 horsepower, although the driver has the ability to reduce this to 800- and 1,000-horsepower settings when required. Peak torque is 1,155 pound-feet and the transmission is a six-speed manual.

Venom GT owners can expect 0-60 mph acceleration of just 2.7 seconds, 0-186 mph in a Guinness-confirmed world record time of 13.63 seconds, and a proven top speed of 270.49 mph. With its Venom F5, Hennessey is shooting for a top speed of 290 mph!
