The 2011 Detroit Auto Show is underway, and tonight's reveal of the new Volkswagen "NMS" mid-size sedan is being preceded with word about the car's name. According to a report in the Detroit News, the new sedan will carry the Passat name. If the reports are accurate, the new four-door will follow the pattern set by the 2011 Volkswagen Jetta, which differs substantially from the European Jetta, with its longer body, larger interior and less nicely finished interior.
