We spied a prototype 2019 Toyota Supra; an update on Michael Schumacher's condition comes to light; and Apple might be interested in buying McLaren. It's the Week in Reverse, right here at Motor Authority.

There's no question the new Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] GT supercar is fast, but it can't outrun a police officer's radio. A group of GT prototypes were pulled over for going well over the speed limit in Colorado. Of course, we are sure the cops were plenty interested in checking the cars out once pulled over.

In what might be the best news in a long time for BMW enthusiasts, the German automaker's bringing back the BMW Film series. A new movie is being made with Clive Owen returning as The Driver. Titled The Escape, the new short will feature Vera Farmiga, Dakota Fanning, and Jon Bernthal. The premiere is scheduled for Sunday October 23 at 6 p.m. EST on BMWFilms.com.

We spied the new 2019 Toyota Supra in prototype form near the Nürburgring and BMW's testing facility. A video of it entering and exiting the facility with gusto also emerged and gave us a taste of what the new sports car will sound like.

News regarding legendary Formula One driver Michael Schumacher's condition has been scarce at best, until this week. During court proceedings the family's lawyer had to state Schumacher can't walk or stand. In case you forgot, the race car driver was involved in a ski accident while in the French Alps back in 2013.

There's no question Apple was or is working on some sort of vehicle going under the code name Project Titan. Now there's word the Silicon Valley tech company approached McLaren Technology Group over a potential sale of part or all of the company.
