We don’t know the story behind this video but we think you’ll agree it doesn’t need one.

There’s just a Ferrari [NYSE:RACE] LaFerrari, KTM 1290 Super Duke and some rope. Oh, and all three elements are attached to one another.

It’s time for vehicular tug of war.

It’s obvious the two challengers are unevenly matched. The LaFerrari weighs over 3,000 pounds, sits on four wheels and has 950 horsepower at its disposal. Meanwhile the Super Duke has half the wheels, a fifth of the power and an even smaller fraction when it comes to weight.

Nevertheless, the bike and its rider manage to hold up the LaFerrari for a lot longer than we expected. All that smoke and wheelspin may explain it.

But the result isn’t the only part that leaves us puzzled.

Just who is the owner of the LaFerrari? Why is there a house with an open pit in front of it and stairs that seem to lead to nowhere? But most important of all: who designed the tow ball to fit a LaFerrari?

Funnily enough, this isn’t the first tug of war we’ve seen involving a Ferrari. Click here to watch two F50s duking it out.
