Bugatti has built another special edition Veyron supercar, this time based on the already limited Veyron Super Sport model.

Only one example of the car, dubbed the Edition Merveilleux, will be built, and it was recently delivered to its buyer in China, a 40-year old man known only as “Simon”.

How do we know that the buyer is 40, and that his name is Simon? Because Bugatti has released this video congratulating Simon and wishing him a happy 40th birthday.

The video features a number of Bugatti’s top execs including CEO Wolfgang Durheimer who reveals that the mystery buyer acquired the Veyron Super Sport Edition Merveilleux as a present to himself.

Simon is believed to be an avid car collector and already an owner of the Bugatti Veyron.

No details about the car itself have been released, although we can see from the video that it features a bare carbon fiber exterior, bright blue interior, and blacked out alloy wheels.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past year, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport currently holds the Guinness record for the world’s fastest production with an official top speed of 268 mph. In addition to unique bodywork, the car also has an output of 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 pound-feet of torque, which is brought about by four enlarged turbochargers and bigger intercoolers compared with the regular Veyron.
