First up is the Dodge Charger Police Pursuit. Yep, that thing has a HEMI. A 5.7-liter, sequential-port-injection, 370-horse HEMI with 397 lb-ft of torque. It gets the Charger PP from 0-60 in 6.24 seconds, 0-100 in 14.99 seconds, and tops out at 146 miles per hour, according to the Michigan State Police Vehicle Evaluation Program.

Heavy-duty vented anti-lock brakes, bigger front and rear stabilizer bars, redesigned front and rear suspension geometries, and dual-mode police-specific electronic stability control make the Charger Police Pursuit even more formidable around corners than the Charger R/T (on which the PP was based), and the R/T already handled pretty well. According to the Michigan State Police test, the PP got around Grattan Raceway Park in a respectable average time of 1:38.47.
