The first semi-official images and details on the 2012 Chevrolet Impala have leaked to the web via a 2012 model-year preview PDF on the GMFleet.com website. In addition to the photo above comes confirmation that the Impala will be powered by a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with E85 capability, but only that V-6.

The new powertrain includes a standard six-speed automatic transmission, and gets a solid range of optional feature and upgrades. The exterior refresh is minimal, with mesh grilles the main cue of the 2012 Impala. The refresh is destined to be short-lived, however, as an all-new car is due in 2014.

Our sister site, TheCarConnection, will have all the official details when they become available, but for now, you can see the leaked information, including trim levels, specifications, options, and features, on page two.
