Like the saddest line in a sappy love song and the sorrowful eyes of a baby English Bulldog puppy, today has been a serious downer. Today was the day I had to return my borrowed 2010 Acura TSX V-6. This car seriously got me wrapped around its highly stylized Acura logo. I never wanted to give it back.

So what's so special about this car? Well, it does everything you would expect and more of a car of this price yet does it in such a manner that you never notice it. It drives just as gracefully as an old-time Hollywood movie star would walk the Red Carpet of Grauman's Chinese Theatre on their way to the Academy Awards. The handling is sporty yet the ride is never harsh.

The steering is laser precise yet never darts you into other lanes or causes you any need to over-correct. Being at the helm of this luxury sedan is never anything less than the utmost pleasure. You look forward to driving it because it is fun to drive, well built and just so easy to get along with.

The controls and dials are highly stylized yet work in the most logical manner possible. There are a number of buttons on the center console but if the reach is too far there are duplicate controls on the steering wheel. Or you can, of course, use voice controls for pretty much any function. This car is a lazy man's paradise. And I am a very lazy man.

If you are in the market for a luxury car and the Lexus IS, Audi A4 and Infiniti G sedan (all of which dont look as good to my eyes as the TSX) are on your shopping list you absolutely must add the 2010 Acura TSX V-6 to your shopping list. One more bonus especially if you live in Southern California? You don't see this car on each and every street corner. And that has to count for something.
