And Ferrari 250 GT Short Wheelbase models are even more so. But an example whose pedigree includes three victories at the hands of legendary pilot Sir Stirling Moss?

Which is why instead of a singular adjective, chassis number 2119 is now the subject of an exhaustive history by esteemed automotive scribe Doug Nye. And to give it a proper christening, the F1 stalwart Ross Brawn—who worked with the legendary Michael Schumacher during his time with Ferrari—will be helping launch the book at this year's Goodwood Revival.
Given that he currently owns the car, his observations about about its past should prove interesting, say the least.

Along with over 200 pictures, the book tells the story of car's fantastic racing record, including Moss' historic victory at the 1960 Goodwood Tourist Trophy and a glorious performance later that year in the Bahamas. Of course, the story wouldn't be complete without tracking its post-competition years, and there are certain to be some interesting observations regarding the stratospheric rise in prices these machines have seen in recent years.
So if you're a racing fan or just general car geek, it's probably worth picking up for your coffee table. You can get a signed copy at the Goodwood Revival taking place in the United Kingdom on September 12.
