Terry is accused stealing a car—a crime discovered after he tried to steal a pickup truck, but fled the scene after the owner showed up and confronted him.

He left the first stolen car behind—with his home address programmed into the GPS as “Home.”

When the sheriffs arrived at Terry’s address, he was found hiding under the porch, reports AL.com.

In Terry’s defense, he then told the sheriffs that he’d like to turn himself in as he’d made “a bad choice” in stealing the car.

Maybe he’s not all bad. But man, what a bonehead move.
