Land Rover’s stylish Range Rover Evoque crossover first burst onto the scene back in 2012, so the vehicle is rapidly approaching the midway point in its life cycle. In order to keep sales brimming Land Rover is introducing a subtle facelift for the Evoque, which we’ll see for the first time at next month’s 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It will be arriving in showrooms as a 2016 model.

From our own spy shots, we know the 2016 Evoque will feature a new front bumper with wider intakes. The lights will also come in for some tweaks, with Land Rover confirming today the vehicle will feature full LED headlights, a first for the British brand. These will be adaptive headlights, meaning their light path will be able to follow the curves of the road and adjust brightness automatically when other vehicles approach.

While the exterior won’t be changing much, substantial updates will be present elsewhere—particularly under the hood. Yes, the 2016 Evoque will benefit from a new engine lineup, likely made up of Jaguar Land Rover’s Ingenium range of 2.0-liter four-cylinder engines. Drive will be to either the front wheels or all four via a nine-speed automatic introduced for 2014. Other markets will have a six-speed manual on offer as well.

But the list of updates don’t end there. Land Rover also promises some new safety and convenience features as well as interior enhancements. Further details on the 2016 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque will be released February 23.

Note, coinciding with the facelifted Evoque will be a new Evoque convertible. We may also see a long-wheelbase variant and perhaps a performance variant at some point as well.
