If you haven't been keeping pace with AMG lately, you might not know that all E Class AMG models will be all-wheel drive in the U.S. soon. A new, higher-performance S-Model will also join the range for 2014. Here, AMG product manager Rob Moran takes us on a tour of the car's features.

Sure, it has 577 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque from a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V-8, and it can get to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds before hitting its 186 mph top speed--but there's more to this thing than the numbers.

The new 4Matic all-wheel drive offers a fixed split of power to both the front and rear axles--33 percent goes to the front end, 67 percent to the rear. That should give a good balance of on-power traction for quick acceleration, but a nice rear-biased power delivery for better dynamics.

Of course, there's also the updated styling and equipment. Watch the video for the highlights of what's changed and what's new.
