As we prepare ourselves for the holidays we also gear up for the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. This week was full of news, from the final Lexus LFA rolling off the build floor to SRT's CEO Ralph Gilles building a 2013 SRT Viper, we brought you the latest automotive stories.

This week we also spied the 2013 Ferrari 458 GT3 race car testing on the track. This prototype is being readied for the 2013 Motorsport season at the Adria International Raceway in Italy. Cadillac released a teaser image of the upcoming 2014 ELR extended-range electric car. While the teaser image is dark, we can see the car will be very similar to the Cadillac Converj and ELR concept cars, as expected.

For those anxiously awaiting the unveiling of the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, this week brought an early holiday present. An image of the front end of the new sports car might have accidentally made its way onto the GM service website, giving us some real insight as to what the new car looks like.

So before you drink some eggnog, be sure to take a look at this week's top photos. Also be sure to bookmark our Top Photos of the Week page, where we will be adding to our collection each week.

First up is a spy shot of the 2013 Ferrari 458 GT3. The updated car hits the track early next year.
