This week brought us the legendary SEMA Show, and of course all the news that came from Sin City included hot photos of modified cars--things as wild as a 500-horsepower Volkswagen Beetle, or a new twin-turbo Ford Mustang Cobra Jet.

Also revealed at SEMA this week is a real life Hot Wheels car in the form of the Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition. We know the inner child in you is geeking out right about now.

We also spied the 2014 Subaru BRZ STI undergoing testing, undisguised on the Nürburgring. Notice the wing, light-weight wheels, and lowered suspension along with the mild body kit.

Of course we get all giddy when the awesome Ford GT Race Car conversion was revealed, and it's street-legal, making it all that much cooler. But if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it.

So before you shut down your computer for the weekend, be sure to check out this week's top photos. You can always bookmark our Top Photos of the Week page, where we will be adding to our collection each week.

First up is a spy shot of the 2014 Subaru BRZ STI.

The new Ford Mustang Cobra Jet Concept is super, how with its twin-turbo V-8 engine.

Nothing screams manly Volkswagen Beetle more than having 500-horsepower under the hood.
