While Chevrolet has already announced its 2013 model year Corvette, the last for the current-generation C6 model, the automaker is planning a few more updates for its iconic supercar when it makes its official launch at the National Corvette Museum Bash taking place later this month.

Part of the updates for the 2013 Corvette include the introduction of the limited edition Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition, the fastest and most capable Corvette convertible ever launched.

In addition to this, all 2013 Corvettes are available with a special 60th Anniversary Package to mark 60 years since the launch of the first Corvette back in 1953.

The Anniversary Package includes a unique Arctic White exterior, a Blue Diamond leather-wrapped interior with suede accents, a ZR1-style rear spoiler, gray-painted brake calipers, and special badging including “60th” emblems.

But that’s not all of the updates, according to CorvetteBlogger. Other updates will reportedly include a new exterior color, Night Race Blue, as well as Black Painted Aluminum wheels replacing the previous Competition Gray wheels. Once again there will be several different sizes for the wheels ranging from 18 to 20 inches in diameter.

Look out for the official debut of the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette at the National Corvette Museum Bash in Bowling Green, Kentucky, from April 26-28.
