It's no secret Maserati's GrandTurismo S is aging, but Maserati has decided to rectify the problem by introducing the new GranTurismo Sport at the Geneva Motor Show.

If the new GranTurismo Sport looks familiar, that's probably because it's the coupe version of the gorgeous GranTurismo Convertible Sport that launched last year.

Powered by a 460-horsepower 4.7-liter V-8 engine, the GrandTurismo Sport will hit 60 mph from a standstill in under 5.0 seconds on its way to a top speed of over 177 mph. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a ZF sourced six-speed automatic transmission or an optional sequential manual transmission.

The revised headlights now have LED accents and the bumpers are aerodynamically-enhanced. Out back, darkened taillights keep things looking aggressive. The interior receives a new steering wheel and seats.
