Following the likes of Honda, Nissan and Mazda, Subaru has announced its lineup for the upcoming 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon, the Japanese market’s showcase for its burgeoning aftermarket industry.

For the latest event, Subaru has once again collaborated with its in-house performance tuner STI to come up with a range of concept models previewing its official aftermarket components and accessories.

Subaru’s theme this year is “Unchanging spirit pursuing driving pleasure - Proud of Boxer,” and the highlight of its lineup will be three of its sportiest models: the BRZ, Forester and XV.

Confirmed concepts include the BRZ Premium Sport Package, which is aimed at a more mature audience and comes with premium leather, metallic trim, a carbon fiber roof and 19-inch aluminum wheels, the Forester Sport Concept, which includes a number of sporty elements such as 20-inch BBS alloys and STI accessories, and finally the XV Sport Concept, which gets similar upgrades to the Forester concept.

The upgrades are numerous and include STI aero components, STI sports mufflers, Bilstein and STI suspension upgrades, Brembo brakes, Recaro seats, and LED detailing.

On top of these concepts, there will also be a BRZ GT300 race car from Super GT, an Impreza WRX STI from the Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance race and another Impreza WRX STI from the International Rally Challenge. Subaru also plans to use the event to announce its 2013 motorsport participation.
