Earlier this year Ferrari announced a new seven-year free scheduled maintenance service for its cars that was to be offered to anyone purchasing a new California, 458 Italia or FF, regardless of how many miles they racked up.

Unfortunately, Ferrari’s U.S. division had yet to announce the program for local owners, that is, until now.

Ferrari North America has now announced a new customer care service for anyone purchasing a 2012 Ferrari California, 458 Italia or FF from its authorized dealership network.

Part of the customer care service is the Ferrari Genuine Maintenance Program, which includes the free seven-year scheduled maintenance program the rest of the world has been enjoying since back in March.

The Ferrari Genuine Maintenance Program is the automaker's exclusive service that ensures its vehicles are maintained to the highest standards to meet the company's strict requirements for safety, performance and reliability.

Importantly, the program covers each individual vehicle, and thus extends to any eventual subsequent owner during the entire seven-year period.

The program covers the scheduled maintenance labor at standard service intervals (12,500 miles, or once a year, with no restriction on total mileage) along with the relative genuine spare parts, and approved lubricants.

The advantage to the owner is the assurance that the vehicle will be subject to regular annual inspections by Ferrari-trained personnel using Factory-approved dedicated diagnostic equipment, adding to their car’s resale value.

With this level of care, it's little wonder the brand is now enjoying record levels of sales across the globe.
