Dhiaa Al-Essa and his two latest Ferraris including a new 599 GTO

File this under the “life’s just not fair” category. A 21-year-old student in Saudi Arabia has just taken delivery of two new supercars, one of which is the fastest ever road-going Ferrari, the new 599 GTO. Dhiaa Al-Essa’s collection of supercars now stands at 33, with the new 599 GTO and an F430 Scuderia Spider 16M--the last one ever made--being his latest additions.

His collection also includes no less than three Lamborghinis, two Rolls-Royces, and several Porsche, BMW and Mercedes-Benz models. And, with Al-Essa’s 22nd birthday fast approaching, the collection is set to grow even greater with the world’s fastest production car, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, as well as the Koenigsegg Agera, Ferrari SA Aperta and a Ferrari 458 Italia already on their way to his Saudi home.

Al-Essa’s taste for expensive toys first came to light earlier this year when a yellow 458 Italia he ordered burnt to the ground in a warehouse fire while it was in transit.

If you asked him which car was his favorite, previously he would have answered the Mercedes-McLaren SLR but now he’ll tell you without hesitation that it is the Ferrari 599 GTO.

“I’ve been so excited about the Ferrari 599 GTO--I have had to wait six months for it to arrive,” he is quoted as saying. “It’s a limited edition car with more technology than pretty much any other car in the world--and it’s the fastest ever Ferrari.”
