Greddy Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Greddy Hyundai Genesis Coupe

For last year’s SEMA auto show Hyundai went all out with seven different modified versions of its Genesis Coupe and Sedan. This year the company has toned down its efforts, preparing only one modified Genesis Coupe for the upcoming event.

Hyundai has teamed up with GReddy Performance Parts to manufacture products for its stylish Genesis Coupe. These high-performance parts will be displayed on the "GReddy X-Gen Street Genesis Coupe" show car at the SEMA event and will go on sale immediately after.

The vehicle from GReddy, based on the 2.0-liter turbocharged model, is designed for the enthusiast looking to make modifications for daily driving or a weekend at the track.

Some of the performance modifications planned include a turbo upgrade kit, a large front-mounted intercooler, a cat-back exhaust system, a racing downpipe, adjustable coil-over suspension, and GReddy six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers.

Styling modifications to the GReddy Genesis Coupe will include an Aero lip spoiler, carbon-fiber hood, aggressive rear spoiler, Volk Racing G2 wheels and Toyo performance tires.

According to Hyundai, the car will develop upwards of 350-horsepower and 320-pound-feet of torque, which should be enough for a 0-60 mph time of less than six seconds. Following SEMA, GReddy plans to make additional engine modifications, pushing horsepower to nearly 500.
