The FXX is significantly different underneath the skin to the already stunning Enzo. The FXX’s 800hp and 508 pound-feet of torque easily beat the Enzo’s numbers, not to mention the 500-odd pound weight advantage. Only 29 lucky souls were chosen to buy a FXX from Ferrari, and their driving experiences were used as part of the development process for future models.
There’s some controversy about the way this guy was driving on the YouTube thread, so sound off and let us know if you think he was worthy of driving this supercar of supercars.

contrary to what some you tubers are saying, he seems to be a decent driver in an overly powerful (and seemingly over damped) car. i thought the hit several apexes right on and caught the car quickly when it oversteered. if you've ever tried to catch a car in oversteer with the flick of your wrist, you know how hard it is. amazing, how it all seems to surreal in the video.

I have to agree with Nikhil. He had some skills, and whether or not it was his first outing in it we'll never know. He did a formidable job piloting the beast, not to sure about the up changes mid corner and he shouldn't take his hand of the wheel to get out the cell though... The fact that "you tubers" slant him, it's only normal for loudmouthed kids who've never sat in a performance car or as in this case a race car. It's hard work, and he seemed to enjoy himself! So would I, and I tested some of Modena's finest Raging Bulls..

I agree with the 2 comments above, it takes a fair amount of skill to hone in a 800 hp racing car by people who don't drive race cars for a living, he manage to keep the oversteer well in check, while doing decently well in corners, not every person can nail the apex spot on anyways. where was this taken?

As the editor of Arabia Motors magazine, I was recently invited to ride in an FXX on the Bahrain International Circuit. The owner was an Englishman who's been involved in some serious Le Mans racing and other circuit events. Since her rented the track, he brough along with him a team of Ferrari mechaniocs who helped him not only improve his lap times but also learn how to operate (and i deliveratley use the word) this beast of a car. Its the closest thing to an F1 car and therfore it is equally hard to keep in check. During the 20 or 30 minutes we drove around in the car, I noticed how much skill it requires to conquer this beast. A number of times it did overteer even on my friend who is a very avid track driving nut job. Its easy for us to sit and criticize something on the web, but seriously how many of you have actually been in something over 600hp? How many have you have driven one? And how many of you think you could do better then this guy here. As a professional I believe he did quite a good job of keeping it in check and not spinning off. Its easy to talk from the comforts of an armchair, but out there when the road surface is hot, and shit hits the fan, thats when you get to tell the real men from the boys.
