Below is a video of the LS9 engine being assembled from scratch - the video is sped up significantly to keep viewing time short but manages to reveal the amount of effort that goes into prepping one of these hardcore engines, and the level of detail involved in getting everything right. The observant among you will notice that the 6.2L engine is based on the LS3, rather than the LS7, due to the LS3's thicker cylinder walls that are more appropriate for the supercharged LS9.

Dandan - The thing he leaves inside is called a piston. Its what makes the crankshaft turn when air and fuel combust inside the cylinder chamber.
