Some of the other cars further down the list included exotics like the Ferrari Enzo, Pagani Zonda F and the Porsche Carrera GT. Unfortunately the GTR’s run wasn’t an official test for the show, which meant Ultima Sports had their own test-driver behind the wheel and not the Stig. Apparently producers of the popular show have continuously rejected requests to air the Ultima, which doesn’t make sense when you consider how many other small British companies have had a chance to strut their stuff.
Other spectacular stats include the car’s 0-60mph time of just 2.6 seconds, the famous 0-100mph-0 time of 9.4 seconds and its sub-10 second quarter mile time of exactly 9.9 seconds at a final trap speed of 143mph.
Remember, the Ultima GTR720 is fully road legal and includes niceties such as air conditioning, a stereo, leather trim and reasonable ground clearance. It features a 720bhp engine and is fitted as standard with a five-speed manual transmission from Porsche.
