Top gear returns October 7

Top Gear will be back for another season, with the entire team, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, returning for the new series. The opening episode, which airs on October 7, will see the trio compete in a race using diesel production cars running on biodiesel fuel sourced from a crop that was planted in the last season.

There’ll also be a segment with British actor Dame Helen Mirren for the ‘Star In A Reasonably Priced Car’ skit, according to the BBC, but the highlight of the show will undoubtedly be the Stig taking the Audi R8 for a hot lap. Another feature could see the popular trio attempting to build and race amphibious vehicles, a concept suggested in previous episodes.
