According to AutoTelegraaf, Suzuki is planning a third iteration of the Kizashi complete with a V8 engine. This latest concept will be much closer to production than the previous two cars and is said to preview the final version, which is expected to hit showrooms late next year.
Hyundai has proven that a budget carmaker can develop and market a V8 saloon and now it seems Suzuki is set to do the same. Unlike Hyundai’s RWD Genesis, the Suzuki will feature an AWD powertrain.

Interesting - big companies w/ gas guzzlers are downsizing their engines whereas Suzuki, known for small efficient vehicles, is now trying to bring a v8.

because clearly you arent anybody unless you have a V8 model.
i agree... when ford and gm are working to bring V6 power to V6's... the i4 and v6 companies are making record profits by putting huge engines in their cars (ahem TOYOTA)... If ford and GM are serious about this "turbo everything and cut displacement in half" idea,... i cant wait to see the day when all of these other companies that got famous for little peppy and efficient engines get their credo destroyed!!!!
yeah im dreaming.
